10 hotels across Asia: an unranked comparison of official details
There is no single hotel that is best for every trip. This page compares ten properties by details published on their official websites so readers can decide what to investigate for their own dates, budget, location and group. The hotels are not ranked, and this guide does not collect current rates, aggregate guest scores or claim first-hand hotel reviews.
Compare the details that affect your choice
| Hotel and destination | Officially published detail | Check for your trip |
|---|---|---|
| Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan — Bali | The resort describes its location along the Ayung River, about 15 minutes from Ubud, and says its concierge can arrange airport transfers. | Confirm travel time for your arrival time and the current transfer price with the resort. |
| The Kayon Jungle Resort — Bali | The property states that children under 15 are not permitted and publishes a range of suites and pool villas. | This age rule makes the property unsuitable for some family trips. Also check mobility access and transfer time to your planned destinations. |
| Loy La Long Hotel — Bangkok | The property describes itself as a riverside house on Songwat Road and lists individually named rooms with different sizes and occupancy. | Read the current deposit and cancellation terms carefully; confirm the room’s exact facilities and access route. |
| Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok — Bangkok | The hotel publishes its address on the Chao Phraya riverbank in Bang Rak and lists a range of restaurants and bars. | Check the route to your daily destinations and confirm any boat or transfer schedule directly with the hotel. |
| Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok — Bangkok | The hotel describes 211 rooms and suites with private balconies and city or garden views; it also lists a 74 m² Wellness Suite. | Confirm which wellness services are included with the room and which require separate booking or payment. |
| Park Hyatt Bangkok — Bangkok | The hotel says it has direct access to Central Embassy and Phloen Chit BTS station. Its entry-level rooms start at 48 m². | Confirm the room category, current room dimensions and exact route from the station entrance to your room. |
| The Reverie Saigon — Ho Chi Minh City | The hotel lists 286 guestrooms and 89 residential-style suites, with accommodation categories ranging from 43 to 313 m². | Confirm whether the room or suite category matches your group and whether the advertised area applies to the specific category you are booking. |
| The Nai Harn — Phuket | Official room types include ocean-view and mountain-view options. The hotel notes that its guest elevators serve through the sixth floor and some higher floors require a walk. | Ask which floor and view category are available; confirm accessibility needs and the route to the beach. |
| Hotel28 Myeongdong — Seoul | The hotel’s official location page describes routes from Euljiro 1-ga and Myeongdong subway stations. | Recheck walking directions, station exits and current airport-bus information before travel. |
| Aman Tokyo — Tokyo | The hotel is in Otemachi Tower, connected to Otemachi subway station; the property describes access to five subway lines. | Compare the Otemachi route with your planned destinations and confirm current room type and transport arrangements. |
A simple way to compare rates fairly
Prices depend on dates, occupancy, room category, availability, cancellation terms and included taxes or fees. No price in this article should be read as a current quote. To compare a shortlist, use the same dates and guest count, then record:
- The total price after taxes and fees.
- Room size, bed configuration and maximum occupancy.
- Breakfast, transport and facility inclusions.
- Deposit, prepayment and cancellation terms.
- Door-to-door travel time for the places you plan to visit.
How this list was prepared
This is a fixed sample of ten properties across six destinations: Bali, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Phuket, Seoul and Tokyo. An entry is included only where an official property page supports a concrete trip-planning detail about location or transit, room size or occupancy, traveler eligibility or mobility, or transfer logistics. The properties are listed alphabetically by destination and hotel name, not in a recommended order. This is not a complete hotel census: omission does not mean a property was assessed and rejected, and inclusion does not mean it is better than another hotel. We did not compare every hotel in any destination, collect live rates, or calculate a composite score. The linked official details were checked on 30 September 2026; confirm current information directly with each property.
